“ Whilst staying in Hay-on-wye, we ate here twice, once for cakes and coffees and again for breakfast. The food was amazing (thoroughly recommend the loaded hash browns, carrot cake and smoothies). Will would certainly eat here again and although busy we did not need a booking (May 25) ”
“ There’s only One main problem with this place - finding a seat. It’s almost always busy !! It’s in a Prime location and, whenever I pass, there seems to be little or no seating available. But we hit lucky last week and all I can say is that it was delightful. ”
“ I recently stopped by The Cosy Cafe in Hay-on-Wye for lunch, and it was a truly delightful experience. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was impressively quick and efficient. The food was absolutely lovely, with a great selection of gluten-free options available. The oat milk lattes were a highlight, and the raspberry and almond Bakewell tart (gluten-free) was simply divine. The cafe's warm and inviting atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax. For those planning a visit, there are on-street parking options and a small car park nearby, with a larger one just a short walk away. I highly recommend The Cosy Cafe and look forward to returning soon! ”

“ Can't fault this lovely Cafe, the food is a veggie/ vegans dream ,yes it's suitable for everyone! with amazing cakes ( you have to have an almond croissant it's soooo yummy ) ”
“ Stopped off here for a coffee but the food looked too good so had to get something to eat as well. The food was really delicious, I had a savoury crepe—the Garlic mushrooms with parsley and Parmesan. It was delicious with a great combination of flavours that hit just right. That along with a freshly made Americano was just what was needed. The cafe is a lovely place to stop off at after having some time exploring with a good atmosphere and welcoming staff. ”
“ My partner and I stopped in here for breakfast before browsing the local bookshops, we were absolutely delighted by the quality of the food, coffee, and service. Highly recommend the meaty breakfast crepe! ”
